All our Trustees and volunteers are required to undertake safeguarding training relevant to their role and all are DBS checked. Our school workshop volunteers are all DBS checked to an enhanced level.

We also subscribe to the DBS update service so that others can easily check the status of our certificates online.

Our volunteers tend to be current or ex-healthcare professionals and have usually completed safeguarding training up to level 3. However, all are obligated to complete annual updates in their safeguarding training. Evidence of this is presented to schools on request and kept on a central record.

We are members of the organisation SACPA where timely safeguarding advice, guidance and training can be obtained throughout the year.
